Winter Is Coming!

Last night another master class was delivered for Leeds Beekeepers Association members at the Temple Newsam apiary. The topic was preparing honey bees for overwintering. We had about 40 members turn up to listen to Andy Gowdy give lots of tips and insight to get honey bees stocks through Yorshire Winters. We also had Dave Barrett on the side lines selling honey. Andy covered topics such as varroa treatment, feeding sugar and checking hives during the winter months for food.
