Leeds Beekeepers Winter Course – Pests and Diseases

The Leeds Beekeepers Winter course is now well over half way through. Hopefully the attendees are now seeing that keeping bees can be easy to do with the right knowledge and support. This month we covered pests and diseases of the honey bee. With some simple precautions against Varroa it can be a straight forward hobby. The two sessions were delivered by Katey Slater and John Duffy who both did a great job.

Why don't you test your knowledge of pests and diseases with our great quiz here.

What’s in the photograph I hear you ask? A mouse guard and examples of Varroa.
