First Master Class Of The Season - Swarm Control

Duncan Brearley, current Chairperson of Leeds Beekeepers Association, delivered a master class on the Pagden method of swarm control yesterday evening. Around 30 members of the association came down to see him and have their knowledge refreshed for the coming swarming season. Duncan took questions throughout on swarm control and other Spring beekeeping issues. Of course, refreshments are always available and the supply stores was open if supplies were needed. The apiary is now open from 6.30pm onwards each Wednesday evening until September.
